This Craftsman style 2200 square foot house and 840 square foot guest house were completed in 1998 and are part of a 5 parcel intentional community. Cherry kitchen cabinets are topped by dark green recycled marble counters. The stained concrete floors are radiant heated by a central water supplying heat and domestic hot water to the main and guest houses.

Construction was a truly collaborative venture between owners, architect, and builder. The owners of this project contributed a large amount of "sweat equity", working alongside the Talia Developments crew. The straw bales were put up with family and friends during a marathon weekend. They also painted, set the tile in the bathroom and the window seat niche, and tracked down heirloom, pre-owned mahogany and oak doors.
